This was recorded by the Portsmouth Sinfonia in an experiment where all the members of the orchestra would swap instruments with each other and attempt to play them to the best of their ability.
This is the result. And it makes me laugh every single time.

All I can think of is Brian’s face when he realizes that he’s the one who told them to go with the Doctor.

the fact that river broke her own wrist and lied about it so the doctor wouldn’t think he’d lose the ponds
the fact that river saw her parents die and put on a brave face for the doctor i just
i’m so done.

The first six episodes of the 2010 series were given an informal readthrough with Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, and the writers during June 2009, and then further refined; the Doctor’s comment of “Come on, Pond” was added based on how Matt teasingly spoke to Karen on set. The new TARDIS scene saw the Doctor saying to Amy “Come along Pond!”, drawing upon a playful phrase which Matt had started to use on set with Karen.

OMG. So the Ponds are forever stuck in NYC to live out their lives until they die sometime around 1990.
…Guess who ends up regenerating into a toddler in the middle of NYC in 1969 and has about 18 years to kill before showing up in Leadworth in/around 1990?
MELODY FUCKING POND
THE PONDS GET TO RAISE THEIR DAUGHTER EVEN THOUGH THEY’RE GOING TO BE ELDERLY AND WHEN THEY DIE MELODY TRACKS THEM BACK TO LEADWORTH TO LIVE WITH THEM AGAIN

Dear Dad,
By this time, the Doctor has told you what happened. Please try not to blame him or yourself. We are safe and happy, really. Amy is gorgeous as ever, and I’ve taken up photography a bit as you can see.
The woman bringing you this postcard will tell you more. Much more. I’ll leave that to her.
We miss you, Dad, and we love you. We’ll be waiting for you. Just don’t get here too soon, okay?
Someone needs to water the plants.
Love,
Rory & Amy

Potentially the best thing to happen on the internet today.
It seems so neat when it’s laid out like that.
